Andrea Copland

Oboist

Bio

Andrea I. Copland is an oboist, musicologist, and information scientist who is dedicated to advancing knowledge about the climate crisis through the performing arts and humanities. She works as the Library Technician at the Planetary Health Alliance's global secretariat based in Washington, D.C. where her work centers on equipping communities with strategies to navigate complex informational environments and access credible research. Andrea holds masters' degrees in music history and oboe performance from the Peabody Institute and her writing about music and politics can be found at https://outwardsound.substack.com/
