May, 2008 - "Antonin Dvořák's "Mass in D, Te Deum, The Biblical Songs, Opus 99"  This concert is dedicated to the memory of Ann B. Johnsen, soprano, a dear friend, whose contributions to the group were considerable, both musically and socially. An active Board member, she brought creativity, energy, and enthusiasm to every project she managed.

The Te Deum is an early Christian hymn of praise, which is also known as an Ambrosian Hymn or a Song of the Church. Soloists for this concert included Scott Clausen, baritone, Beth Hallworth, soprano, Patty Rubin, alto, and Michael Thompson, Tenor.                 

November, 2008 - "A Baroque Celebration: Music 1600-1750"

J. S. Bach and Friends

with Monte Maxwell, Organist, United States Naval Academy

and Richard Osborne, Accompanist

This concert included compositions from Bach, Purcell, Pachelbel, Vivaldi, Handel, Marcello, and Buxtehude.
